This course includes two classes on September 30 and October 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This course is designed to introduce students to the core principles and techniques essential for developing strong drawing skills, essential to any art practice. You will learn about the use of line, shape, form, perspective, proportion, composition, and shading. Exercises and projects will focus on observing and rendering various still life setups. The class may also explore different drawing mediums such as graphite, charcoal, ink, and pastel. Emphasis is placed on building foundational skills and encouraging creative expression. Materials and tools will be provided.
