This class is designed for parents and kids to bond creatively while exploring the expressive style of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Known for his bold use of color, abstract elements, layered compositions, and incorporation of text and symbols, Basquiat's art is an inspirational example for those looking to express themselves freely. Participants are encouraged to create their own unique artwork inspired by Basquiat's techniques, blending abstract elements with personal symbols and text. This class is perfect for parents and children who want to explore their creative side, learn more about contemporary art, and enjoy a fun, hands-on experience together. At the end of the session, you'll have a completed collaborative artwork you've created with your child. No prior art experience is required—just a willingness to get creative and have fun! We provide drawing boards up to 24" x 24" in size, along with other drawing materials. If you plan to use a canvas larger than this size, please bring your own. Materials and tools are included.
